Mystery project Yara is a creature that comes from the depths of fiction and is fed with shards of the ‘nuum’, just to deliver two haunted anthems that defy any genrefication.

‘Eyeless’ is based on a twisted slowed down 2-step rhythm, soaked in a mournful, hazy aura where sirenic vocals and slashes of pads rip the darkness open. Its anxious progression is interrupted by erratic slabs of percussion, before it culminates in a shamanistic ceremonial.
Gloomy atmosphere permeates ‘Loss’ , an elegy structured around a lamenting drone and beats that sound buried deep under the gutter. Pointillistic riffs build up to an amen-break that hails a denouement of slowed-down d’n’b that is both lyrical and alien.
